Membership is not certification.

DSCC membership indicates participation in the DSCC community and access to member benefits. It does not represent organizational data sovereignty certification, audit approval, professional designation, government authorization, or regulatory approval. Future DSCC certification pathways will be separate from membership and will require defined criteria, evidence review, audit processes, and authorized certification decisions.

Will members receive a membership card or certificate?
Yes. In the MVP, individual members receive a digital membership card, while corporate and Indigenous/community organization members receive membership certificates with basic QR verification.
